I have done my utmost to fulfill all the tasks that have come to me. I have striven to dedicate myself to living for the sake of others with one heart and one will. I have never given my body the rest it needs. Many were the times I neglected to eat or sleep. My husband, Rev. Dr. Sun Myung Moon, who is often known as Father Moon, was the same. He was born with a strong physique, and had he taken better care of his health, he would have had more time to work for a better world.

We view the family as the initial school of love, and we believe that God intends for us to experience a diverse range of relationships in our lives. It is through these relationships—such as the love of children for their parents, the bond between siblings, the connection between spouses, and the love parents have for their children—that we can grasp and inherit the complete love of God.
The founders of the Family Federation, Rev. Dr. Sun Myung Moon and Mrs Hak Ja Han Moon, envision human potential unfolding in three stages: first, personal growth, integrity, and a deep love for others; second, forming loving families; and third, establishing a positive relationship with the world and responsibly managing its resources.
Working collaboratively with affiliated organizations, professionals, and interfaith groups, the Family Federation seeks practical ways to enhance every individual’s relationship with the environment and build bridges of understanding across cultural, religious, and national boundaries.
